  1. I enjoyed going thru your site! The pictures are fabulous, and the information is invaluable! Keep up the great work!

  2. Why do the general public decide to buy Bull Terriers from the first breeder they talk to?
Some people as we did thought about having our first dog, discussed possible breeds, talked about the pro’s and con’s, read as much litarature as we could about our chosen breed, contacted the Kennel Club for information on breed clubs etc.etc. We then went along to various shows to see the different types and to meet lots of Bullie people with lots of experience, we then went along to manny breeders kennels to view the dogs they had to see all the different aspects of the breed from house dogs to dogs that lived outside, we now new which line we wanted, we now knew which breeder we wanted to buy from and which breeders we felt at ease with. Now we waited and waited, after 18 months in total we got our very first Bull Terrier, a white Male with brindle ears we named TAZ. His pedigree/show name was Mountain Lord of Draydur. Boy did we make the right decision. He was everything we could of wished for and then some. Were we lucky? We do not think so, all the time and effort we put in studying the breed was well worth it in the end.
Some people on the other hand sit around their dining table having dinner with their familiy and one family member says “Shall we have a dog”, dad says “How about one of those Bull Terriers i like them”, the family agree.
That weekend it is a case of looking in the local rag (classified ads paper) seeing what is for sale, if there is nothing there, it’s on the internet type in Bull Terrier Puppies for sale, finding the nearest one for location and the one with the best price (cheapest). And it’s hey ho. One phone call later (if they do not come across a genuine breeder) they are off to look at or pick up their newest addition to their family. Within 6 months when the dog is running riot through lack of disipline, training and maybe bad breeding the poor dog takes a trip in the family car. if the pup is fortunate it will be a one way trip to the open countryside if not it will be the same one way trip but it will be to the local vets.
Please if you are considering a Bull Terrier for the first time read this blog over and over again. Sit back and then decide your next step on the hopefully long road to purchasing the best friend your family will ever have.
Thanks for you time i hope Draydur Bull Terriers have helped in your quest for a very special breed of dog.
    Good luck in the future.
